9.20.2009 | Velma Gratch and the Way Cool Butterfly was nominated for the 2010-2011 Nebraska Golden Sower Primary Award!

6.02.2009 | On Thursday, June 4th, my children's novel, 100 Days And 99 Nights, which deals with a young girl's experiences while her father is away at war, will be shown in the 8:30AM half hour of the Today Show as part of a story on Operation Home Front (www.operationhomefront.net). The book is being donated along with other items from Cheerios to Pampers to support Military families.

5.11.2009 | Velma Gratch and the Way Cool Butterfly has been selected to be featured at Washington D.C.'s Smithsonian Institute's Garden Fest on Saturday, June 13th, 2009. I will be there to read and sign books from 10 AM - 4PM.

5.09.2009 | I will be doing a reading of Velma Gratch and the Way Cool Butterfly on June 1st, at Manhattan Day School.

4.14.2009 | Velma Gratch and the Way Cool Butterfly has been selected to be performed as a play by the Open Book Players in Gardiner, Maine on May 30th and 31st. For more information go to www.openbookplayers.org.
